Old-school, narrow, anti-clockwise and almost impossible to overtake on in modern cars
Hosted the San Marino GP 1981-2006 and the Italian GP in 1980. Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger were killed here in the weekend of 30 April-1 May 1994; the circuit was heavily modified afterwards, with Tamburello and Villeneuve turned into chicanes. Returned in 2020.
