Michael Schumacher won for Ferrari from 2nd on the grid at Nurburgring (GP-Strecke). 9 of the starters were not classified. It was the first championship podium for Felipe Massa. With this win, Michael Schumacher set a new record of 86 championship Grand Prix wins.
