The 312T line ran for six seasons and five designations and is the most successful thing Ferrari built before the Schumacher era. The 312T2 is the car Lauda crashed at the Nurburgring in 1976 and the car he was back in six weeks later. By the 312T5 in 1980 the flat-12 was too wide for ground effect and the car was hopeless - Ferrari finished tenth in the championship, and went turbo.
