Murray's very low Brabham packaging, Honda's last and best turbo, and the two fastest drivers alive
In the final year of turbos, with boost and fuel cut hard, McLaren won 15 of 16 races and led 1,003 of 1,031 laps. The one it lost was Monza, two laps from the end, when Senna hit a backmarker while leading - five weeks after Enzo Ferrari's death, and Ferrari finished first and second. Senna and Prost took 199 of a possible 240 points between them and did not speak civilly again for years.
15 wins, 15 poles and 10 fastest laps from 16 races. Senna's first title and McLaren's constructors' championship.
