Most consecutive race starts
- Value
- 265, 2007 Australian Grand Prix to 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix
- Held by
- Sir Lewis Hamilton
How it is derived
An entry counts as a start unless its result is DNQ, DNPQ, DNS, DNP or EX - did not qualify, pre-qualify, start or practise, or excluded before the start - so a pit-lane start counts and so does a retirement on the first lap. Every completed championship race in date order, the Indianapolis 500 of 1950-60 included; a run carries over a winter and ends at the first race that does not extend it, entered or not. Sir Lewis Hamilton: 2007 Australian Grand Prix to 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix.
